It’s almost just a few months before the celebration of Christmas which is for children and for adults also. But even now, we are starting the longest celebration of Christmas in the world. The happiest, most colorful, most evident and most Glamorous, all celebrations of Christmas holidays in the world. So no wonder that in all poor countries, the Philippines only has this type and duration of the celebration of the birth of Jesus.


Children lead to each house to ask for a peso or Christmas gift for some Christmas songs. Gentle voice in conjunction with cold air equals to Happy and Wonderful Christmas. “We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year”, “jingle bells, jingle all the way” and many more songs made for Christmas and also for business of our little ones.


Let’s start the celebration with a big smile on our faces. Lets show the world that through those obstacles, problems and challenges we’ve encountered, we can have smiles on our faces, we can have merry Christmas and a delightful new year to come. Those challenges make us as Filipino, which is what I’m proud of. Its culture, its festivals, its tradition and its celebration of Christmas.

Misterious Symbols

Do you believe in modern methods of propagation of evil?
And do you believe that even the most important thing for us Christians is being used as identification to them?

Before anything else, let me ask you, who is the worst person in the world of people and the world hereafter you’ve ever known?
People's beliefs concerning Satan range from the silly to the abstract—from a little red guy with horns who sits on your shoulder urging you to sin, to an expression used to describe the personification of evil. The Bible, however, gives us a clear portrait of who Satan is and how he affects our lives. Put simply, the Bible defines Satan as an angelic being who fell from his position in heaven due to sin and is now completely opposed to God, doing all in his power to thwart God's purposes.

Satan became the ruler of this world and the prince of the power of the air (John 12:31; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2). He is an accuser (Revelation 12:10), a tempter (Matthew 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:5), and a deceiver (Genesis 3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:3). His very name means “adversary” or “one who opposes.” Another of his titles, the devil, means “slanderer.”

Even though he was cast out of heaven, he still seeks to elevate his throne above God. He counterfeits all that God does, hoping to gain the worship of the world and encourage opposition to God's kingdom. Satan is the ultimate source behind every false cult and world religion. Satan will do anything and everything in his power to oppose God and those who follow God. However, Satan’s destiny is sealed—an eternity in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10). Bad symbols.

Backward writings- Satanist have adopted the practice of writing backwards. Note the words to the left when reversed spell EVIL, DEVIL, NATAS, MURDER. This is particularly popular among the young and is usually written on their knuckles or as graffiti.
We always encounter things, words and symbols and we even use these as a part of life but are bother to take a look at it for the second time. Try to ask, is this worth using, is this not against God? Then if your sure, that’s the time you start using it again. Words are simple but very powerful. The word of God is very powerful but the power is not able to protect us if we do not believe in the power of God’s Word. Don’t be one of those fools who believe in Satan as their defender and protector. Blasphemy to those who is against the will of God. They are not belong in this world, even in the world of the hereafter.
Don’t be fool. Stay with the real defender of man, the real protector of the Universe, the real and only powerful creature ever created as God, Jesus the Christ. 

"Mystery"

Recently, we had encountered the fast spread of a text message chain about the ‘mysteries behind the song Alejandro by Lady Gaga’. The text said that its against the will of God yet some said that the song just wanna tell the mob to totally accept the homosexual in the society without limitations.

But what is the truth behind the song Alejandro? What are the things they wanna tell us and is it really a song for denunciation and compliance to God’s will?

Let me start with the content of the chain text message:

“Alejandro means man’s defender and protector [GOD]; Fernando means ardent of peace [JESUS]; Roberto means bright and shining flame [Holy Spirit]; Babe is the same as Child.

Now try to read this: “Don't call my name. Don't call my name, GOD. I'm not your CHILD. I'm not your CHILD, JESUS. Don't call my name. Don't call my name, HOLY SPIRIT. Just let me go” Insult concealed in an art”

On the other side, how sure were those people that this song was against the will of God?

Try to read again and again the lyrics and some reactions will suddenly come to your mind. There are terms mentioned in the chorus that somehow is anti-Christ, if Alejandro is God [maybe the God Father], Fernando is Jesus [He is the son of God] and Roberto is the Holy Spirit, then this is the Holy Trinity. Even the music video used many holy symbols. It is very sacred to Christians, so why does she use it as the focus of her song. No one has the right to use in public the holy symbols, words or things.

The music video also has a part in this reaction. Lady gaga is wearing a red latex nun suit and holding a rosary. Looking at the sky she says: “Stop, please, just let me go.” Then, just when she says “Alejandro,” she raises her hands to the sky. In this context, it is safe to say that Alejandro might very well be God.

We can’t deny that the song of Lady Gaga is all good to hear. And also its not bad to use the God’s will in a song just make sure that its for praising God, not leaving God. I don’t have anything against the person itself yet I just want you to know my reaction to the music video and its lyrics. Just the video and the lyrics, not anyone related to that song.

Don’t forget to spend a day with God. Don’t let Satan conquer you. Reserve your heart to God, Jesus the Christ.

I heard it first when I'm in a food chain. And used to like it starting that day.
The lyrics remind me of someone who played a bog role in my life as a student, as a person and as a man. But I stop courting her. I used to like her since elementary. I told her my feelings when I'm in 4th year High school. Days past and also my feelings loss. I don't know but its just that i felt that I'm not in loved with her. My feelings just flew away. But well, moving on is a must. So I let him runaway with her dreams and with the path that she choose.

I wanna runaway with someone who understand me and who will love me for what and who am I. Lets Runaway with our friends for now then with our love-one in the future.

Theatro

Theater is…

“Theater is an art of expressing one’s feelings through acting; It is where artists perform drama, romance, action and musical.”

Far Eastern University (FEU) gave me the best first year college (but now, Its OLFU; J). Best experienced like auditioning in FEU Theater Guild.

NERVOUS!!! That’s what I’ve felt starting from registering my name for audition until the day 3 of the audition. Let’s start from the day 1 to day 3 until the announcement of the students who passed the audition.

DAY 1

Filling-up forms was the first thing to do then go to the line. Luckily, I’m second to the last. Slowly, the long line turns short. Then the moment of truth finally arrived. OMG! It’s my turn; I enter the door and stood at the center of the room. After taking shots of photos, they asked me, “Anong talent mo?” then I replied “singing po”. “Singing? Teatro ang sasalihan mo hindi choir! Sige umarte ka dyan!”, my heartbeat beat fast. I lie on the floor and had a drama. Then after that, we proceed to the main part of the audition. “Gamit ang bote ng C2 na nasa harap mo sa apat na emosyon, HAPPY, SAD, ANGER and FEAR”:

· Happy – I picked up the bottle, put it on my pocket, and used it as a cell phone and talk like Visaya. That the first thing that comes to my mind but I don’t mean it, I talk Visaya only for the sake of acting. :)

· Anger – I threw the bottle and shouted it like I’m fighting with someone. Saying bad words to express the feelings of anger. :(

· Sad – I used the bottle as a dead baby so that I can act like a father or a brother of that baby who died from illness, they said that my face looks like I’m in a very sorrowful event.

· Fear – after the baby’s death, I continue it, that baby suddenly becomes a monster like Chaka doll; I got it from the movie Chucky. I’ve used it as a baby turn monster biting me in my neck, I threw it and had a facial expression of a person who saw a real monster. They are all very happy… actually they were all laughing.

We all passed the level 1 audition because I think we’re all good.

Day 2

On the level 2, they asked us to dress differently. I dress up like I’m a poet or Makata. I stood up under a tree in the FEU freedom park while posing and waiting for the judges to stop to us and hear our own monolog. But in the end, even though I give much effort in my costume and monolog, I became one of 15 + weakest of all but luckily, at the second time, I passed it.

Day 3

This day is the final judgment of those who auditioned in this guild. The final act is acting without words, acting using actions. We acted like a imprisoned man for several years without food, water, light and without roommates. For just a minute, we need to act this and show them what we wanted to show. And then before your time ends, you need to say the word “Ayoko nang maging Pilipino”. If your time runs out and you did not able to say those words, you’ll have a deduction. And then after that, they announced that the result will be posted on the Arts Building of FEU.

After counting number of days, the whole class received a group message from my classmate Maricar Besana, that Let’s congratulate Aldrin for passing the audition in the guild, he’s the top 3 over several students. I’m so overwhelm because of the support of my friends, and because the members told me that I’m their favorite of all. And also happy because after the 11 PM dismissal in the guild, I finally got the spot but suddenly I need to transfer to other school for some reasons. Haixt! I felt lost, loss of friends, classmate and loss of dreams. But there always a sunshine after heavy rains. So accept it.
